- West Lowland Cadets Going for Gold
-
Seventeen year old Cadet RSM Karl Matley was recently presented with four Gold DofE sectional certificates by the Commandant, Colonel Kevin Connor. L/Cpl Darren Newman also received three Gold sectional certificates. Karl said, “I did my residential in Canada with the Army Cadet Force for 6 weeks in 2008 on a shooting & coaching course. I have completed all the necessary training to do my expedition and have gained a place on the Cadet150 trip to Bavaria in September.”

- This is NOT an ACF / CCF Brassard badge!
-

There is some continuing confusion about the badge illustrated here, which is advertised in the DofE Shop catalogue as a Cadet badge. This is NOT the ACF / CCF brassard badge - these continue to be a different (less expensive!) pattern and should be purchased from Cadet Kit Shop.

All training activity in this section should be recorded in the Keeping Track booklet, which is in the Welcome Pack, for eventual uploading into eDofE (hopefully within 4 - 6 weeks)
