- Army Cadets using eDofE

During a visit to the Wee County , HRH the Earl of Wessex was interested to talk to cadets of Clackmannan Company of the Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Bn about their progress with eDofE. Prince Edward also spoke with cadets working with participants from Alva Academy on the Group Work Skills module of the DofE Modular Training Framework.

- Working in Groups in Bavaria

Eighteen Gold expedition participants from the ACF, CCF and ATC used their experiences during the Cadet Visit to Bavaria to complete the Group Work Skills module of the DofE Leadership programme, which is part of the DofE Modular Training Framework for leaders

On the occasion of the 20th Cadet Gold Visit to Bavaria, the Chairman of the ACFA DofE Award Advisory Panel presented Octavia Hill roses to the two ever presents . Lt Col Mike Gerrish was the inspiration and driving force over the two decades, firmly supported by Major Alan Thompson, who was also presented with a portrait painted by Sqn Ldr Helen Gerrish of the ATC

- IntoDofE in Perthshire

Black Watch Bn hosted their first IntoDofE course for some years at Dunkeld and were delighted to welcome students from 1st Bn The Highlanders as well as the Assisatnt Director for the DofE in Scotland, Alex Cumming, as a tutor.

- Expedition Supervisors trained in Gloucestershire

Gloucestershire ACF hosted an Expedition Supervisor Training course, directed by Lt Col Mike Gerrish. All students enjoyed the courses and gained confidence in, and practised, the skills of supervising DofE expeditions.

- Awarded the Certificate In DofE Leadership

After successful completion of the Group Leader course at Frimley Park, and external moderation of their work though OCN, 18 CFAV have been awarded the Certificate in DofE leadership. Many congratulations to all concerned.

- Open College Network Passes

After a recent external moderation exercise, ACF leaders from all over the UK were awarded passes in DofE Leadership modules through the National Open College Network. Congratulations to all - the certificates will be sent to County HQs when they become available.

- Gold Awards at Holyroodhouse

Members of the ACF in Scotland were presented with their Gold Awards and heartily congratulated by GOC 2nd Division, Major General Andrew Mackay at Holyrood Palace in Edinburgh

- DofE Leader Training for Nottinghamshire

22 members of Notts ACF were given an Introduction to DofE at their Training Centre at Chilwell by Lt Col Ed Sandham, Capt Martin Peterson and Major Robin Jones

- Expedition Assessor Training at Chilwell

Potential DofE Accredited Expedition Assessors were taken though the generic training course by Major Robin Jones and Captain Martin Peterson. The next step is for them to complete a supported assessment before appying for national accreditation
