ACF leaders from Cheshire and Merseyside joined up with colleagues from the Air Training Corps to undertake a joint training course in Introduction to the DofE

A very successful EAA course was held jointly with the ATC at 1855 Royton Sqn, tutored by Lt Col Mike Gerrish, Capt Martin Paterson and Sqn Ldr Helen Gerrish. As a result, we now have 37 DofE leaders needing a supported assessment opportunity in the near future!

The Gold Notification form (G4) has now been rebranded and renumbered as G5 (Welsh and Scotland) and G6 (Northern Ireland and English). Leaders from Norfolk and Suffolk ACFs joined together to participate in a concentrated IntoDofE course at their Cadet Training Centre at Thetford. A very long day led to successful completion of the course by all students

Potential expedition assessors from Norfolk, Suffolk and Yorkshire took part in the Generic training course staffed by Lt Col Mike Gerrish, Lt Col Alistair Spowage and Sqn Ldr Helen Gerrish at CTC Thetford. The 19 students are now keen to continue with the final stages of their training.

Strensall, near York, was the venue for the Introduction to the DofE course hosted by Yorkshire (N&W) and staffed by Major Alan Thompson, Captain Kevin Stout and Captain MIchelle Sumner.

Eight students from 4 different NE and Yorkshire Counties came together at Strensall for the Foundation level course, which was successfully tutored to everyones satisfaction by a team from North of the Border!
